Iranian actress Negar Javaheriyan to go on stage

Iranian actress Negar Javaheriyan is to go on stage with 'Ahvareh'.

Iranian actress Negar Javaheriyan has been set to go on stage with a play titled 'Ahvareh'.

Written and directed by Ehsan Goudarzi, the play will be performed at Paliz Hall in July 2018.

This is the third time that Goudarzi and Javaheriyan cooperate in a theatrical production.

Javaheriyan began her acting career on stage at the age of 15 and made her cinematic debut in 2002 with the movie ‘I’m Taraneh, 15’, directed by Rasoul Sadr-Ameli.

Some of the movies in which she has performed are ‘Qadamgah’, ‘Girl’s Dormitory’, ‘Barefoot in Heaven’, ‘The Magical Generation’, ‘The Music Box’, ‘The Book of Law’, ‘Nothing’, ‘A Cube of Sugar’, ‘Without Reason or Cause’, ‘Tales’, ‘Melbourne’, ‘A Minor Leap Down’, ‘Dowry’s Sugar Bowl’, 'Negar', and ‘Confessions of My Dangerous Mind’.

Among the series in which she has appeared are ‘That’s Not the Way’ and ‘Under the Blade’.

She won the Crystal Simorgh of Best Actress in a Leading Role from the Fajr International Film Festival for her performance in ‘Gold and Copper’.

Her husband Rambod Javan is also an actor, director and showman.
